Dr Meghan Corkery is a highly-trained optometrist with a passion for pediatrics, especially early childhood development, early intervention, and multi-sensory learning. This interest blossomed during high school and college when she began working with preschool-aged children.

Dr Corkery holds the following degrees:

  • Bachelors of Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst
  • Doctorate of Optometry from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences
  • Residency in vision therapy and rehabilitation at Southern College of Optometry
  • Currently pursuing fellowship in vision development at the College of Optometrists

During her residency, Dr. Corkery worked at the first practice in the country to combine occupational and vision therapy. This multidisciplinary approach influenced her diagnosis, treatment and management of neuro optometric developmental and rehabilitation cases. Dr. Corkery is trained in interactive metronome therapy, primitive reflex integration, concussion/TBI neuro-optometric rehabilitation, visual vestibular integration, and fine and gross motor planning and skills. She has lectured on multisensory biofeedback in vision therapy and post trauma vision syndrome, and has presented to physical therapists and vestibular specialists at several rehab hospitals.
