As a registered yoga teacher recognized by Yoga Alliance our patients have access to Yoga for Rehabilitation at our Farmington office. Our patients learn calming strategies and treatment modalities to help support the body when it gets overwhelmed by sensory input or adrenal imbalance. Kathy also shares aspects of yoga within her sessions, inviting the opportunity to practice presence, mindfulness and intention within each moment.
Since joining our SIGHT Rehabilitation team, Kathy has expanded her training to include visual rehabilitation. Our patients benefit from her ability to customize, modify or adapt treatment plans based on the complexity of each patient’s sensory systems, due to her extensive training and experience in sensory integration. Kathy is best known in our office for her calming, kind and warm presence.
